Winter Break Wind Down

Time flies when you aren't doing much of anything.
I've had a month off of school and still another week until I go back. I'm pretty anxious about getting back in the swing of things, which is unusual for me. Normally I crave being busy, my days filled with classes, projects, papers, meetings, that sort of thing.
I've adjusted nicely to the lazy drag of my day to day schedule; 12 hours of sleep, jumping in the shower at around 2 pm or 3 pm, drinking coffee, reading books. Yes, boredom has been good to me.
I've taken up a new hobby, a questionable one at that. Reading stranger's blogs has become my guilty pleasure. It's weird how looking into other's lives can be comforting and entertaining.
That is weird, right?
I guess it really isn't any different than reading the trashy celebrity magazines, learning about the breakups, hookups, and those upward and downward spirals of Hollywood's beautiful people.
I know I'm not the only one that likes to read that stuff.
Anyway, I've set some goals for myself this week. I'll finish the scarf I'm knitting, finish the book I'm reading, paint my toenails, make an appointment to see the eye doctor. Hey, I've got to take advantage of these final days of freedom. If any of you would like to take off work this week to be lazy with me, feel free to do so.
