Sidetracked

It sounds like an actual word, right?

We sat on the Starbucks patio, watching happy dogs guide their people down the sidewalk and pregnant women waddle inside for something cool to drink.
I had ordered the new Green Tea Frappuccino, with whip of course.
I scooped dollops of runny whip cream into my mouth.
"How is it?" Dave asked.

"I don't know. Haven't tried it yet."

I stuck the straw down into the cup, making sure it caught some whip cream before reaching the icy green stuff. I took a sip. "It's kinda tingy," I said, handing Dave the drink to taste.

He didn't say anything for a moment, then looked at me with a strange expression.

"Did you just say tingy?"

"Yeah," I laughed.

"You know, it tings your tongue. It's tingy."
