Sidetracked

Burrr

We’re in the midst of the first cold snap of the year. The high today is 58 degrees. To celebrate I’m going to make a big pot of homemade chicken soup and no-knead bread.

Really, I’m doing this to avoid any actual work.

I totally forgot a coat today so every time I step outside I’m freezing my butt off. All I can think about it hot chocolate and how I’m going to make some as soon as I get home. πŸ™‚

It was 48 this morning when I walked to the Lβ€”nice and crisp and invigorating. Leaves skittering across the pavement. Clouds illuminated by the rising sun.

I bought a new hoodie a couple weeks ago and it’s soft and warm. I wear it everywhere.

I love this time of year, even though it took forever to get here.

I started a whole post about the soup last night, but then was too tired to finish it. I’ll post it later.
